Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Opportunity for Veterans

Each November, Stray H.E.L.P. shows their appreciation
to America’s military veterans by offering them a special rate of $35 for
spay/neuter and rabies vaccination services for their cat(s). This year, the
low-cost clinic—available to past and present military personnel—will be held
November 18, 2023, at Trinity Episcopal Church, in Fishkill.
“We are
grateful to our military men and women who make personal sacrifices to protect
our democracy. This is a small way we can give back to them in thanks. When
they arrive at our clinic, we are then able to thank them personally for their service,” says Ann LaGoy, president of Stray
H.E.L.P. and owner of local cruelty-free product line Sound Earth. “This
program has grown over the last eight years. Many cats and their military
parents have been able to take advantage of this offer.”
Stray H.E.L.P. strives to
protect and improve the lives of homeless, free-roaming community cats through
learning as a means to guide their work, and community education and
collaboration to facilitate cat care. They promote the benefits of spay/neuter
as the primary way humans can assist cats to live healthier and safer lives.
