Elizabeth Rodriguez, DNM, LMT, owner of Healing Oasis Institute, is now working in the office of Stephen Perlman, DC, in White Plains. She offers integrative therapeutic massages and bodywork by appointments only, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. First-time clients receive a $20 discount off of their initial massage appointment. 

Rodriguez has a doctorate in natural medicine and dedicates her work to helping people heal their body, mind, spirit and emotions. “While working as a registered nurse, I studied massage therapy and received my license in 1999.” She is also a reiki master and integrates Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and hypnosis into her work.

Active listening is a part of Rodriguez’s approach. She explains, “I listen to the client and according to what their needs are, then I explain in detail what I can do for them. Together we create the best treatment for that day. Typically, my work is a blend of massage, myofascial release, reiki and more, ensuring that the client can receive the healing they need.”

As needed, Rodriquez provides clients with exercises to do at home. Additionally, she is bilingual in English and Spanish, and can also understand a little French.
