Threefold Community Farm’s Produce Stand to Open in July

Locally sourced, organic produce will be available to the public from noon to 3 p.m. every Friday starting the beginning of July through the end of October at Threefold Community Farm’s produce stand, in Monsey.
“If you are wanting freshly harvested, biodynamic vegetables all summer long, stop by the produce stand. And while visiting, swing by the farm store to pick up herbal products, milk, yogurt, cheese and a selection of seasonal ferments,” advises Mia Bieber, office manager at the Rudolf Steiner Fellowship Foundation, a dynamic, work-based, intergenerational community centered on the care of the elderly.
“Some of the produce is also served at meals to our elder members and employees that live and work at the fellowship,” continues Bieber. “Some produce is processed and saved for the cooler months when there are no longer any more fresh veggies to harvest. This farm is something that makes the fellowship so special.”
Threefold Community Farm was born out of a collaborative spirit between the Rudolf Steiner Fellowship Foundation and the Threefold Educational Foundation, a living community of people and institutions centered around the practical work inspired by Rudolf Steiner.
