Gather at the Labyrinth for Mariandale’s Eco-Spiritual Series

The Center at Mariandale, in Ossining, is hosting the Encounter With the Wild: An
Eco-Spiritual Series on select Sunday afternoons—April 27, May 18 and June
22—from 3 to 4:30 p.m. These outdoor gatherings offer an opportunity for
participants to deepen their connection with nature while reflecting on the
spiritual relationship between humanity and the environment. Open to
individuals of all faiths and beliefs, including those without religious
affiliation, the series is designed to be inclusive, meaningful and joyful.
Each
monthly session takes place at the Labyrinth, rain or shine. The gatherings are
independent of each other, allowing participants to attend as many or as few as
they wish. Led by Lynn Trotta, a nature-based educator, mentor and life coach,
the series focuses on healing through nature, community and spirit. Trotta, who
has dedicated her life to environmental issues and spiritual practices, invites
participants to celebrate life and connect with the world around them.
The Center at Mariandale, situated on 61 wooded acres with stunning views of the
Hudson River, provides a peaceful setting for this series. Founded in 1976 by
the Dominican Sisters of Hope, the center emphasizes environmental stewardship
as a central tenet, offering a variety of programs focusing on spirituality,
wellness, social and environmental justice, the arts, interfaith dialogue and
contemplative practices.
Cost:
$15 per session. Location: 299 N. Highland Ave., Ossining. For more information
or to register, call 914-941-4455 or visit Mariandale.org.
